Dr Manmohan Singh, former Prime Minister of India, passed away on Thursday, December 26, at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi.

PM Narendra Modi arrives at the residence of late former PM Manmohan Singh to pay his tributes. Along with PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah also reached Manmohan Singh’s residence early early in the morning.
Dr Manmohan Singh, former Prime Minister of India, passed away on Thursday, December 26, at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi. He was 92. Singh was admitted to the hospital’s emergency department at 8:06 PM and was pronounced dead at 9:51 PM.

PM Modi reached Manmohan Singh’s at around 10:00 AM in the morning.
Before PM Modi, Amit Shah also reached Manmohan Singh’s residence at around 9:50 AM.
A distinguished economist and statesman, Singh continued to serve as a member of the Rajya Sabha until his retirement in April this year.
Seven days national mourning has been declared to mourn the demise of former PM Manmohan Singh. All the government programs scheduled for Friday, December 27, have been cancelled as well.
