Air India Express expands network with new routes to Jammu, Port Blair
From Jammu, Air India Express will operate 14 weekly flights to Delhi and Srinagar, along with one-stop options to nine other domestic destinations.

AI Express new routes: Air India Express is set to expand its domestic operations, adding two new stations, Jammu and Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair), to its network. Starting from 1 December 2024, the airline will introduce direct flights from Jammu to Delhi and Srinagar and will begin connecting Port Blair with Bengaluru and Kolkata.

The new routes are part of Air India Express's ongoing expansion to reach across the country. Ticket bookings for the respective flights are also open on the airline’s official website, mobile app, and other major booking platforms.
Aloke Singh, Managing Director of Air India Express, commented on the expansion, saying, "We are delighted to announce the addition of Jammu and the Andaman Islands to our domestic network this holiday season. AIX continues to scale up in the domestic India market, supported by a rapidly growing fleet. With recent expansions in the north-east and southern regions, we are developing a strong pan-India domestic product, alongside a large network of short-haul international destinations, fulfilling our mission to be 'new India’s Smart Connector.'"
From Jammu, Air India Express will operate 14 weekly flights to Delhi and Srinagar, along with one-stop options to nine other domestic destinations, including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Pune. The airline will also provide one-stop connections to three international destinations: Bahrain, Dammam, and Muscat.
From Port Blair, Air India Express plans 21 weekly direct flights to Bengaluru and Kolkata, with extended one-stop connections to 15 domestic cities, such as Agartala, Chennai, Kochi, Lucknow, and Varanasi. Port Blair will also gain international connectivity with flights to Abu Dhabi.
The new routes further Air India Express’s presence in both the domestic and international markets, catering to growing travel demands across the country.
