IRCTC Website Down: The official website of the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) went inoperative on Monday morning, causing widespread outage. Several users took to social media and raised complaints by tagging the official social media handles of IRCTC. According to Downdetector, the IRCTC website was down from 10 am and users faced problems with website access, ticketing and app.

IRCTC Website Down: What We Know So Far

According to the data on Downdetector, the IRCTC website outage today started at about 10 am and was being faced for about two hours. While 48 per cent of the users accessing the IRCTC website complained of problems accessing the website, 40 per cent faced problems with the IRCTC app, and 12 per cent of users faced problems with the IRCTC website.

"User reports indicate possible problems at IRCTC," Downdetector said. IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) offers online ticketing for the railway system. Several users also took to social media and sought an explanation from IRCTC for the disruption in IRCTC website services. "It’s 10:14 and the website http://irctc.co.in is not loading since 9:55, is this a planned activity?" asked one Deepak Jain.

"Great! Now the website is completely down for a long time!" wrote another user. He also shared the screenshot of the website on X.

According to reports, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation website was down because of maintenance activities. At the time of this report at about 2.42 pm, the IRCTC website was up and running.
