WhatsApp is an essential part of many people's digital lives, enabling connections with friends, family, and colleagues. However, occasionally, you may find yourself in a situation where someone has blocked you on WhatsApp, and it's not always easy to determine if this is the case.

While there is no foolproof method to confirm if you've been blocked on WhatsApp, several indicators might help you identify the possibility. Here are some of the signs to consider:

Absence of 'Last Seen' and 'Online' Status: If you can no longer see when the person was last active or their online status, it could suggest that you've been blocked. However, keep in mind that many users choose to keep this information private for privacy reasons, so this alone may not be conclusive.

No WhatsApp Profile Picture Updates: If you notice that the person has not updated their profile picture for a while, it might be an additional hint that you've been blocked.

Lack of Delivery Receipts (Single Tick): When you send messages, if you only see a single tick and not the double tick indicating message delivery, this could be a strong indication that you've been blocked. Messages typically won't be delivered to blocked contacts.

Unsuccessful Video and Audio Calls: If your attempts to make video or audio calls on WhatsApp consistently fail when contacting this person, it's another sign that you may have been blocked. WhatsApp often restricts blocked contacts from making calls to the person who blocked them.

Calls Outside WhatsApp Also Don't Connect: You can try calling the person using your phone's dialer outside the WhatsApp app. If the calls still don't connect, it may indicate that you've been blocked not only on WhatsApp but also on their phone.

It's important to note that these indicators are not foolproof. Some users disable their 'last seen' status, may not change their profile picture frequently, or might be in a low-network area temporarily. If you observe a combination of these conditions persisting over an extended period, even after multiple attempts to reach the person, it's more likely that you've been blocked. However, always consider other factors and communication methods before drawing a definitive conclusion.
