In less than a week, Vistara will cease to exist, and will become a part of Air India post merger. All Visatara reservations will be made via Air India website November 12th onwards. This merger also means a shift of Vistatara’s loyalty program to Air India. To allay any concerns that the customers might have, Air India Tweeted, “With the merger and the changes that come with it, we wanted to assure you that your Vistara in-flight experience is not going away. You can continue to enjoy the same world-class fleet, exceptional service, and familiar faces under the new code AI 2XXX.”

The Airline also assured the customers of better facilities than before, “As a part of the larger transformation journey, you will discover even more to love, with a wider network, enhanced benefits, and a world of endless possibilities that await you.” the airline tweeted.
The airline also clarified that the Vistara points will be shifted from Vistara to Air India, and users will gain access to more than 20 airline associates via the Star Alliance for reward points redemption.
