The internet has recently been obsessed by Jahnavi Mehta who represented the Kolkata Knight Riders at the IPL Auction 2025 on Sunday.
But Who Is Jahnavi Mehta?
Jahnavi Mehta, the daughter of Juhi Chawla, has taken the internet by storm ever since she represented the IPL team, the Kolkata Knight Riders at the IPL 2024 Auction on Sunday at the Abadi Al Johar Arena in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She was there on behalf of her mother Juhi Chawla.
Several clips and pictures of Jahnavi have also surfaced and caught the attention of netizens, with many trying to identify her.
She was spotted at the auction wearing a white T-shirt and a dark velvet jacket, accompanying other senior members of Kolkata Knight Riders as they bid for players.
Daughter of the Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla and Jay Mehta, who are co-owners of Kolkata Knight Riders, Jahnavi is a graduate of Columbia University and represented the team on behalf of her parents for the second time.
According to media reports, her mother describes her as a cricket buff and her knowledge and interest in the sport "comes naturally" to her.
Jahnavi , has up until now, maintained a low profile and was previously studying in Charterhouse in Surrey, UK
More On The Sidelines Of IPL Auction
The Kolkata Knight Riders put a bid worth $2.83 million on the all-rounder Venkatesh Iyer, after an intense bidding session with Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Further, Rishabh Pant, ended up becoming the most expensive bid and player in the history of IPL after Lucknow Super Giants placed a $3.2 million bid on him. Pant surpassed Iyer's bid.
Delhi Capitals also made a significant move by securing Lokesh Rahul for $1.67 million.
