ChatGPT Down: ChatGPT, the popular AI chatbot developed by OpenAI, is currently facing significant disruptions, limiting users from engaging in conversations or accessing their previous chats. Many users flagged this ongoing issue on X, previously known as Twitter. 

Many users shared some hilarious comments on X, with one saying, "Even ChatGPT takes a break sometimes!  But X? Unstoppable!" 

Another user quipped, "The amount of people complaining about ChatGPT being down is kinda scary. What, you can’t do your job without AI?"

Another user, mkurman, joked, "ChatGPT is down right now. Maybe someone from the OpenAI team asked the operator to turn it off—and they actually went ahead and did it?"

More than 3000 users reported issues with ChatGPT on the outage tracking site Downdetector, which has seen an unprecedented surge in complaints. 

However, the use of ChatGPT and other AI platforms is rapidly growing in everyday life, with many people increasingly relying on them for various tasks. As one user, mkurman, humorously remarked during the outage, "Maybe someone from the OpenAI team asked the operator to turn it off—and they actually went ahead and did it?"
