December 24: Christmas Eve Holidays
States with a Bank Holiday: Aizawl (Mizoram), Kohima (Nagaland), and Shillong (Meghalaya) will observe a bank holiday on December 24 for Christmas Eve.
December 25: Christmas Day
Nationwide Holiday: December 25 is a bank holiday in all states and union territories due to Christmas.
Special Mention: Some cities with banks closed include Agartala (Tripura), Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Dehradun (Uttarakhand), Gangtok (Sikkim), Hyderabad (Telangana & Andhra Pradesh), Kochi (Kerala), Mumbai (Maharashtra), and New Delhi, among others.

Kohima (Nagaland) will have a bank holiday on December 27 for Christmas festivities.
December 30: Death Anniversary of U Kiang Nangbah
Shillong (Meghalaya) will observe a bank holiday on December 30 to commemorate the death anniversary of freedom fighter U Kiang Nangbah.
December 31: New Year's Eve
States with Bank Holidays: Aizawl (Mizoram) and Gangtok (Sikkim) will close banks on December 31 for New Year's Eve, Lossong, and Namsoong celebrations.
