Shriram Finance Q3 FY25 Results Out: Check Dividend, Record Date
Despite strong results, Shriram Finance’s share price dropped 1.6 per cent to Rs 521 after the announcement, following a day of mostly positive trading.

Shriram Finance Ltd held the board meeting today and has announced it quarterly results for the year ending on December 31, 2024. It has also declared the dividend and record date for the FY 2024.
“Approved and taken on record the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results of the Company for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2024” as per exchange filing.
Shriram Finance: Q3 Results
Shriram Finance has declared its Q3 results in the board meeting. It reported 96 per cent year-on-year increase in net profit for Q3 FY25, reaching Rs 3,570 crore. According to the filing, the year increase is largely due to a one-time post-tax gain of Rs 1,489 crore from selling its stake in Shriram Housing Finance Ltd (now renamed Truhome Finance Ltd).
The company excluding the one-time gain, profit after tax rose 14.4 per cent to Rs 2,080 crore, compared to Rs 1,818 crore in the same period last year.
Shriram Finance: Revenue Growth
The company recorded the Net Interest Income (NII) increase by 14.3 per cent , reaching Rs 5,823 crore, up from Rs 5,094 crore in Q3 FY24. It has also shared the basic earnings per share (Excluding Gain): Grew 14.4 per cent to Rs 11.07, compared to Rs 9.68 last year.
The company's AUM rose 18.8 per cent year-on-year to Rs 2.54 lakh crore as of December 31, 2024, compared to Rs 2.14 lakh crore a year earlier. On a sequential basis, AUM increased from Rs 2.43 lakh crore in September 2024.
Shriram Finance: Dividend Announcement
The board of company also declared an interim dividend of Rs 2.5 per share (125per cent ), with a record date of January 31, 2025. Eligible shareholders will receive the dividend by February 22, 2025.
“Declared second interim dividend of 125% i.e. Rs.2.50/- per equity share of face value Rs.2/- each fully paid up for the Financial Year 2024-25, subject to deduction of tax at source, if any, to be paid to those Members whose names appear in the Register of Members of the Company as on Friday, January 31, 2025 being the Record Date” as per filing.
According to the filing, the second interim dividend payout will be made to eligible shareholders on or before Saturday, February 22, 2025.
