The parents of students enrolled at the FIITJEE East Delhi Centre have filed a formal complaint against the renowned coaching institute, accusing its management of fraudulent practices and misappropriation of students’ fees. The complaint, submitted to the Preet Vihar Police Station on January 21, 2025, alleges that the centre has abruptly shut down, leaving students and their families in distress.
FIITJEE Coaching Centre Crisis Reasons: What Parents Say
The complaint comes after a group of parents visited the East Delhi Centre, only to find it closed, with no staff members present except a lone security guard. The parents were reportedly shocked to discover that all faculty members had resigned due to unpaid salaries, and many had already joined other institutions.
“This is beyond devastating for us,” said one parent who wished to remain anonymous. “Our children’s futures are at stake, and we trusted this institution with their education. Now, we’re left with nothing but uncertainty.” The parents are also concerned about the substantial fees paid for courses, which they claim have been collected without any service or education being provided in return.
FIITJEE Coaching Centre Shutdown: What Are The Key Issues?
The complaint highlights key issues such as media reports about disturbing developments at FIITJEE centres nationwide, secondly the frequent closures of FIITJEE branches across the country and lastly sudden movements of faculty members following the non-payment of salaries.
Parents of the students, including members of a WhatsApp group that has grown to 257 members, have expressed anger and frustration over the situation. “We have invested our hard-earned money into FIITJEE, believing it would secure the future of our children,” said another parent, who was part of the meeting. “Now we are left with no answers, and no one to hold accountable.”
FIITJEE Closure: Call for Immediate Action
The complaint calls for the immediate filing of an FIR against the FIITJEE East Delhi Centre and its management, specifically naming Shrikant, the Centre Head. “This behavior is not just unprofessional, it is criminal,” one of the parents asserted. “We demand action, and we want to see those responsible held accountable for the damage they have caused.”
The letter addressed to the Preet Vihar Police Station also urges the authorities to investigate the matter and take appropriate action against the institute. “We, as concerned parents, want justice for our children and for all the families affected by this fraud,” the complaint states.
