Persistent Systems: Company Announces Record Date; Key Decision On Dividend On January 21 - Details

IT and Consulting Giant Persistent Systems has announced the record date for the dividend. Persistent Systems will be declaring its quarterly results for the Quarter ending December 31, 2024, on January 21, 2025.

The board of directors of Persistent Systems will be deciding on the declaration of the dividend during the meeting.

In an exchange filing, Persistent Systems said that the meeting of the Board of Directors of Persistent Systems Limited is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, and will continue on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at the Registered Office.

Persistent Systems Dividend: Record Date

The Record date of  Persistent Systems will be on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, post the finalization of the interim dividend.

"If the  Interim Dividend is approved by the Board of Directors, the Record Date will be Wednesday, January 29, 2025, unless otherwise specified," as per the filing.

As per the filing, the Board of Directors will consider the aforesaid business items on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, IST.

Persistent Systems: Dividend History

Previously, Persistent Systems had declared a dividend of Rs 10 in July 2024. Prior to that, in January 2024, the IT firm had rewarded its shareholders with Rs 32 as the interim dividend. In 2023, Persistent Systems had rolled out a dividend of Rs 22. 

Persistent Systems: Investors' Call

Persistent Systems announced that they will hold an investor call to discuss business on January 22, 2025, at 6:00 PM IST.

"The Company will hold an investor/analyst call on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 6:00 PM IST. The details of the said call will be intimated to the Stock Exchanges separately in due course followed by its publication on the website of the Company," as per exchange filing.

Persistent Systems Share Price Today:

As of January 8, 2025, Persistent Systems Limited's stock performance on both major Indian exchanges was noteworthy. On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the stock opened at Rs 6,500 and closed at Rs 6,550. Similarly, on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), it opened at Rs 6,495 and closed at Rs 6,548. 

The company's market capitalization across exchanges stands at Rs 1.01 trillion, underscoring its robust presence in the IT services and consulting sector.

"The Trading Window will remain closed till Friday, January 24, 2025 (IST) and will re-open on Saturday, January 25, 2025 (IST), unless communicated otherwise," the company said in the filing.
