China stocks open higher, investors await more property measures
China will hold a press conference at 0200 GMT on Thursday to discuss promoting the "steady and healthy" development of the property sector.

Chinese stock market: China and Hong Kong stocks opened higher on Thursday as market participants looked forward to a government briefing focused on the property sector for more support measures.
China's blue-chip CSI300 Index .CSI300 and the Shanghai Composite Index .SSEC were both up 0.6 per cent at market open. Hong Kong's benchmark Hang Seng .HSI climbed 0.9 per cent.

Property stocks traded in China .CSI000952 were down more than 3 per cent right after the market opened, while those in Hong Kong .HSMPI were down over 2 per cent, reversing some gains of the previous session.
