Cognizant’s allegations involve Infosys stealing secret information from the database of its QNXT software which is used by healthcare insurance service providers as an end-to-end core management solution that they can use to manage their data and operations.
The accusations also involve Cognizant’s TriZetto’s Facets which is used by insurance companies to automate and streamline administrative tasks such as claims processing, billing, care management and network management workflow.
Cognizant has asked courts for an unspecified amount of monetary compensation and a stay on Infosys to stop using its secrets.
