Bhavish Agarwal’s Ola Electric sells 50,000 units in October

Ola has also announced its EV service training program to train one lakh third-party mechanics to make ‘every mechanic EV-ready across India.’

Ola's EV Market Domination: Bhavish Agarwal's Ola Electric, India’s largest pureplay EV company on Friday anunced sales and registrations for October 2024. company has registered sales of over 50,000 units. It has also recorded a 74 percent year-on-year growth in registrations in October. According to Vahan data, Ola has registered 41,605 units in October. With a market share of 30 percent, company currently dominates EV two-wheeler segment.

Commenting on sales, an Ola Electric Mobility spokesperson said, “ festive season has been strong for us on back of our expansive portfolio, an uptick in consumer demand, and strengning of our sales network across India. We have witnessed an increase in EV adoption, especially in Tier 2 and 3 markets and we are confident that this growth will cascade in coming months as well.”

company has also anunced a series of initiatives to enhance after-sales and ownership experience with its #HyperService campaign. With this, it has plans to double its service network to 1,000 centres by December. Additionally, as part of Network Partner Program, company will onboard 10,000 partners across sales and service by end of 2025. Ola Electric’s portfolio spans six categories. premium offering S1Pro and S1 Air are priced at Rs 1,34,999 and Rs 1,07,499, respectively. mass market offerings include  S1 X portfolio (2 kWh, 3 kWh, and 4 kWh) priced at Rs 74,999, Rs 87,999, and Rs 101,999, respectively.

In August, Ola Electric anunced launch of its Roadster motorcycle series, comprising Roadster X, Roadster, and Roadster Pro. Ola motorcycles offer many segment-first techlogy and performance features, starting from Rs 74,999, Rs 1,04,999, and Rs 1,99,999, respectively.
