Amul, India's top dairy brand announced a price decrease of Rs 1 per litre for its three main products—Amul Gold, Amul Taaza, and Amul Tea Special. The price reduction was announced on Friday by Jayen Mehta, Managing Director of the Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation.
The lowered pricing went into effect immediately, providing customers with respite when their household bills rose. New pricing for Amul Gold (1L), Amul Tea Special (1L), and Amul Taaza (1L) were announced: Rs 65, Rs 61, and Rs 53, respectively.

Although the business has not given specific explanations for the choice, industry analysts see it as a consumer-friendly move in the face of intensifying competition.
Customers should be relieved by the price reduction, which will also strengthen Amul's position as a leader in the dairy industry. This modification is applicable to well-known varieties like as Amul Gold, Amul Taaza, and Amul Tea Special.
The price drop sought to make everyday staples more affordable for millions of Indian households. In a statement, Amul revealed that the decision was made to help customers during a period of rising inflation.
