Ashok Leyland Follows Suit
Ashok Leyland, the flagship company of the Hinduja Group and another leading player in India’s commercial vehicle market, has announced a price increase of up to 3% across its entire range of commercial vehicles.
The company attributed the decision to inflation and escalating commodity prices, which have significantly raised production costs.
"The extent of price increase will vary depending on model and variant, however all products across the range will be affected. Inflation and higher commodity prices have necessitated this price increase. This move will help mitigate a part of the input cost impact," Ashok Leyland stated, adding that the adjustment is essential to offset input cost pressures.
