Audi RS 3 India Launch: Date Announced? What We Know So Far

Audi India is gearing up to introduce the highly anticipated (Rally Sport) RS 3 to the Indian market in 2025. The performance-oriented model is expected to be available in both hatchback and sedan variants and will be sold in a petrol option.

Performance and Powertrain

The upcoming RS 3 will be equipped with a 2.5-litre five-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, delivering a 400 horsepower of maximum power and 500 Nm of peak torque. This powertrain enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h.

The RS 3 is poised to compete with models like the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S in the Indian market. Pricing is anticipated to range between Rs 85 lakh and Rs 90 lakh. When launched in India, the RS3 will come-in completely built unit and attract 100 percent import duty. Audi India is poised for a transformative year in 2025, with several key initiatives and new launches that underscore the brand’s commitment to expanding its presence in the Indian automotive market. One of Audi India's key priorities for the coming years is increasing its electric vehicle (EV) offerings. Following the success of models like the Audi e-tron, the company plans to launch several electric vehicles in India, including the upcoming Q6 e-tron SUV.
