Google announces 5 new Android features: Circle to Search, Earthquake Alerts, more
Google has announced 5 new features for Android smartphones. The list includes Circle to Search for searching music and the ability to read web pages on Chrome.

Android update: Google today announced a five new features for Android smartphones. These features give Android users more ways to experience the company's most advanced AI model, that is, Gemini.
The company today announced that it is not only expanding the reach of its Earthquake Alert system, but it is also expanding the use-cases for Circle to Search, a feature that it introduced in January this year.
Without further ado, here are all the new features coming to Android devices:
Listen to pages in Chrome
First of the many features coming to Android lets users to listen to web pages on Google's web browser. Users can adjust the listening speed, change the language and the voice type of the web page being read.
Earthquake Alert on Android devices
Google is expanding the availability of its Earthquake Alert system to all of the US. Earlier, this feature was available in select states in the country.
Circle to Search
Google today expanded the scope of its Circle to Search feature by enabling users to find songs that they are hearing using this feature. Google says that Circle to Search will let users search the songs that they are hearing without switching apps. Users will be able to identify the name of the track and the artist, and open a YouTube video using this feature.
Gemini-powered TalkBack
Google is also bring the power of Gemini to Android's TalkBack feature. The updated TalkBack feature will make digital images more accessible with detailed audio descriptions on all supported devices.
Wear OS smartwatches get new features
Google also bringing new features to Wear OS powered smartwatches. One of features coming to Wear OS will enable users to access a map that they downloaded in Google Maps on Android, on their smartwatches. Apart from this, the update will also let users search for destinations using their voice when they are back online. Lastly, Wear OS users will be able to view their location on the map in Google Maps' app with a tap on their watch faces.
