Anil Agarwal-led mining major Vedanta Limited revealed in its latest exchange filing that its Board of Directors will deliberate on the fourth interim dividend for FY 2024-25 during a meeting scheduled today.

"The Board of Directors of the Company (the “Board”) is proposed to be scheduled on Monday, December 16, 2024, to consider and approve the Fourth Interim Dividend on equity shares, if any, for the Financial Year 2024-25," the company stated.
Vedanta Record Date
To determine shareholder eligibility for this dividend, Vedanta has fixed Tuesday, December 24, 2024, as the record date.
This means shareholders must own Vedanta shares in their demat accounts by this date to receive the dividend.
As explained in the company's filing, "The record date for the purpose of determining the entitlement of the equity shareholders for the said dividend, if declared, is being fixed as Tuesday, December 24, 2024."
Vedanta Trading Window Closure
Vedanta also announced that the trading window for designated persons will remain closed between December 12 and December 18, 2024.
"The Trading Window shall remain closed for dealing in securities of the Company for all Designated Persons from Thursday, December 12, 2024, till Wednesday, December 18, 2024 (both days inclusive)," the company added.

At around 11:00 AM today, Vedanta’s share price was trading at Rs 512.30, down 1.42% or 7.40 points, despite opening at Rs 522.70.
The company's market capitalization currently stands at Rs 2,00,466.04 crore. The stock’s 52-week range is between Rs 249.30 and Rs 527.00.
