Shaadi.com and Zepto have entered into a collaboration, which came into the limelight when Anupam Mittal, Founder of shaadi.com shared a hilarious picture of a billboard sharing an advertisement from both the companies.

What Did The Billboard Say?

Zepto is a rapidly developing e-commerce platform, to the likes of Blinkit and Swiggy Instamart. Expanding its servicers, Zepto is also delivering ethnic wear Manyavar in 10 minutes. The latest addition to the list is ethnic wear, as a text on the billboard read, “Manyavar chahiye? (Want Manyavar?)" Right next to it was a Shaadi.com ad which said– “Var chahiye (want a groom)? Will take more than 10 minutes."

What Did Anupam Mittal Say?

Mittal took to LinkedIn expressing his appreciation for the collaboration. He said, "Taking a moment to appreciate this cute collab between Zepto & Shaadi.com 😎

Who would have expected a crossover between love and 10-minute delivery 😉

For decades, brands operated in isolation, fiercely protective of their lanes and any collaboration meant approaching the partnership with suspicion, a win-lose approach and months of planning.

Today, they’re co-creating more than ever 🤝 Social Media with the immediacy it lends, shorter content life-spans, topical orientation and a need to engage audiences is driving brands to be more creative than ever and with AI I expect this trend to further accelerate." Mittal wrote

He went on to talk about the changing culture of brands, "Brands are no longer just products or services, they are conversation starters. Used to be that your Brand was what you told your customer about it i.e. the primary job was communicating.

Today, brands are what your customers are saying about you which shifts the role to entertaining, engaging, and then educating.

Marketers who embrace this new role, show the courage to give up complete control & co-own their brands with their customers will be the new stars by the end of this decade.

What do you think?"

The post soon went viral, with people adding their own twist to the creative advertisement.
