Adani Enterprises has successfully concluded the amalgamation of Stratatech Mineral Resources Private Limited (SMRPL) with Mahan Energen Limited (MEL), a subsidiary of Adani Power Limited.

The process, sanctioned by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Ahmedabad Bench, was first communicated on November 7, 2024. As of December 4, 2024, the scheme is officially effective.

'Sanctioning of the Scheme of Amalgamation of Stratatech Mineral Resources Private Limited (“SMRPL”), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company with Mahan Energen Limited (“MEL”), a subsidiary of Adani Power Limited, by the Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunal, Bench at Ahmedabad (“NCLT”), vide its order dated November 7, 2024 (the “Scheme”),’ the company said in the exchange filing.

The appointed date for this strategic merger has been backdated to April 1, 2024. 


‘Accordingly, the Scheme has become effective today, i.e., December 4, 2024 (“Effective Date”) and consequently, SMRPL stands amalgamated with MEL and dissolved without being wound up. In accordance with the Scheme, the Appointed Date of the Scheme is April 1, 2024,’ the company mentioned in the exchange filing.

On December 4, Adani Enterprises' stock opened at Rs 2,528, reached an intraday high of Rs 2,530, a low of Rs 2,470, and closed at Rs 2,494.
