Bajaj Auto is gearing up to launch the Triumph Thruxton 400, which is an upcoming addition to Triumph's lineup in India. The new model, which will be positioned between the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400 X, is estimated to be priced between Rs 2.90 lakh and Rs 3.00 lakh (ex-showroom).

Triumph Thruxton 400 is expected to be powered by a 399cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which does its duty on its Speed 400. This engine is expected to deliver 39.5 bhp of maximum power and 37.5 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox.
Some of the expected design elements include a half-fairing, clip-on handlebars with bar-end mirrors, and a revised tail section, embodying a classic café racer aesthetic.
In the Indian market, the Thruxton 400 is expected to compete with models like the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650, Husqvarna Vitpilen 250, The Thruxton 400 aims to attract enthusiasts seeking a blend of classic design and modern performance.
In line with Triumph's collaboration with Bajaj Auto, the Thruxton 400 will be rolled out at homegrown automaker's Chakan facility in Maharashtra. Speculation is rife that Triumph to unveil this upcoming cafe racer in the second half of 2025.
