BYD launched the eMax 7 at Rs 26.90 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. It is the facelift version of the BYD E6. It is the most affordable EV in the MPV segment.

BYD eMax 7 launched: BYD launched the eMax 7 at Rs 26.90 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. It is the facelift version of the BYD E6. This is now available in a six and a seven-seater configuration. The car now comes with fresh exteriors, comfortable interiors and a long list of features on offer. The eMax 7 comes with blade battery technology, and comes with a 71.2 kWh battery pack having a claimed range of 530 km on a single charge. It is available in two variants, Premium and Superior and four colour options to the customers.

eMax 7 price and variants:
BYD eMax 7 launched at Rs 26.90 lakh (ex-showroom) in India and offered in two variants, Premium having a smaller battery pack of 55.4 kWh and Superior variant having a 71.8 KWh battery pack.
eMax 7 exterior:
The exterior design of the BYD eMax 7 has fresh appeal. The front design of the MUV gets updated LED headlamps, which are connected to the grill and LED DRLs. The bumper is revised has chrome on the lower parts of the bumper. It offers a front parking camera for 360-degree cameras feature and parking sensors. The side profile of the BYD eMax 7 gets regular door handles and the tyres comes with 17-inch alloy wheels. The rear design of the BYD eMax 7 comes with a clean design and has LED DRLs, connected LED taillamps, and offers powered tailgate.
The BYD eMax 7 is a well-proportioned MUV. It has a length of 4,710mm, a width of 1,810mm, and stands 1,690mm tall along with a wheelbase of 2,800mm.
eMax 7 interiors and features:
The eMax 7 interior are fresh and revised. The eMax 7 comes in both six and seven-seater configurations and offers space for passengers in every row. The panoramic moonroof on offer enhances the cabin atmosphere. The dashboard layout is updated and has a rotating 12.8-inch infotainment screen having wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The eMax 7 offers a comprehensive set of features. It has features such as a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, ambient lighting, and more. Additional safety features include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, TPMS, and more. The eMax 7 also offers Level-2 ADAS features for enhanced safety.
eMax 7 range and charging:
The BYD eMax 7 is equipped with blade battery technology. The Superior variant comes with a 71.8 kWh battery pack, and has a claimed range of 530 km on a single charge. The Premium variant comes with a 55.4 kWh battery pack, and has a claimed range of 420km on a single charge. The motor produces a power output of 201 BHP and has a torque output of 310 Nm. As per the company, the 0-100 km/h claimed time of eMax 7 is 8.6 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 180 km/h. Additionally, the company claims that the eMax 7 goes from 0-80 per cent charge in 37 minutes using a 71.8 kWh DC charger.
