Upcoming cars in festive season: The automobile industry in India is going to witness new car launches in the festive season from auto manufacturers. India’s leading automakers, Nissan, Kia, and Mercedes-Benz India will be launching new and updated vehicles in the market this festive season. While Kia will be launching a new EV, the Kia EV9, Nissan will launch a facelift of the Nissan Magnite next month.

New Kia Carnival

Kia India will be launching the new and updated Carnival in India in the festive season. The official bookings for this MPV are started by the company. The new Carnival will be coming via the CBU route and local production of this MPV is expected to begin later. It is expected to come with a 2.2-litre diesel engine. The new Kia Carnival will be launched on October 3, 2024.

Kia EV9

Kia India will be introducing a new electric MPV as well in India in the festive season. With the launch of the new Carnival, Kia will also introduce the new EV9 for Indian market. The EV9 is the flagship MPV from Kia. This MPV will also come via the CBU route. The Kia EV9 will be launched on October 3, 2024.

Nissan Magnite Facelift

Nissan is giving the first mid-lifecycle update to Magnite in October. Nissan launched the Magnite in India back in 2020. As per the latest videos from the company, the facelifted model will receive an updated exterior and interior with some new features. The Nissan Magnite will be launched on October 4, 2024.

BYD eMax 7

BYD, a Chinese EV manufacturer, will be launching the eMax 7 in India this festive season. It is the updated version of the electric MPV, E6. The eMax 7 is expected to receive an updated exterior design, new interiors, and updated safety features. The BYD eMax 7 will be launched on October 8, 2024.

Mercedes-Benz E-Class facelift

The luxury auto segment will also witness new launches in the festive season. Mercedes-Benz will launch the new E-Class facelift in India. This is the sixth generation E-Class and will be competing against the BMW 5 Series LWB in India. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class facelift will launch on October 9, 2024.
