iPhone 15 Plus gets discount on Flipkart ahead of iPhone 16 launch

Apple is gearing up to launch the iPhone 16 series on September 9 in India. Rumours are rife that the series will include four models this time again. Among them will be an iPhone 16 Plus – the successor to the iPhone 15 Plus, which was launched last year. While the price of the iPhone 15 Plus will likely drop after the debut of its successor, Flipkart is running a discount offer for buyers.

iPhone 15 Plus deal on Flipkart

The Plus model from the iPhone 15 series was launched for Rs 89,900 last year, but its official price changed to Rs 89,600 following the reduction in customs duty by the Indian government. The shopping website, however, is currently selling it for Rs 75,999, representing a discount of Rs 13,601. Over and above this discount, buyers can use bank cards to get cashbacks and other offers to sweeten the deal. Flipkart is also offering a bonus on exchanging an old handset while purchasing the iPhone 15 Plus.

Customers planning to buy the iPhone 15 Plus using a credit or debit card, Flipkart has multiple offers lined up. HSBC Bank and Federal Bank credit card holders can get a Rs 1,500 discount on EMI transactions. Those using Bank of Baroda BOBCARD will be eligible for a Rs 1,000 discount. Customers who go for UPI will receive the same benefit.

iPhone 15 Plus specifications

The bigger variant of the iPhone 15, the iPhone 15 Plus features a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display. Powering the iPhone 15 Plus is an octa-core Apple A16 Bionic chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM. The device has a 48MP main camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera, while its selfie camera houses a 12MP sensor. The iPhone 15 Plus is among the first iPhone devices to come with a USB-C port, as well.
