EU to assess if Apple's iPadOS complies with bloc's tech rules

" Commission will w carefully assess wher measures opted for iP OS are effective in complying with DMA obligations," EU antitrust watchdog said in a statement.
" Commission's assessment will also be based on input of interested stakeholders," it said.

Apple did t immediately respond to request for comment
Digital Markets Act (DMA), which came into force earlier this year, requires Apple to allow users to set default web browser of ir choice on iPs, permit alternative app stores on its operating system and allow hephones and smart pens to access iP OS features.
