He further said, "Don't expect a 1Cr package without a solid project portfolio.

Poor pay packages for employees have gained the spotlight even more since the salaries of CEOs have started getting published.
As Per Deloitte India's ‘2024 Executive Performance and Rewards Survey’ report, CEOs have witnessed a staggering 40 percent hike in their average salaries over the last four years. The report showed that every second CEO now receives an annual pay package of over INR 10 crore, with the average being INR 14 crore in 2024.
The report further highlighted the prominence of promoter-driven CEOs, who enjoy an average compensation of INR 16.7 crore. Additionally, there's a notable trend of compensation becoming more aligned with performance.
