ICC Calls Off Champions Trophy Title Tour in PoK: Top Developments

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has called off the Champions Trophy title tour at Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. The Pakistan Cricket Board had announced the Champions Trophy Title tour, in which the title won by Pakistan in England was to be displayed throughout the nation. However, ICC has cancelled the tour that was being held in the city of Skardu, Hunza and Mazafarabad. These regions are in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Earlier the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had announced that the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy Tour will start from Islamabad on November 16.

In a post on X PCB said that the Champions Trophy tour will also see destinations such as Skardu, Murree, Hunza and Muzaffarabad.
India has decided to send a strong message to Pakistan by refusing to travel as it is a 'security concern.'

Earlier when Pakistan hosted the Asian trophy, India had played its matches in Sri Lanka.
