Zepto Cafe Separate App Launch Next Week - What Is It?

Quick commerce platform, Zepto is all set to launch its dedicated app for Cafe offerings from next week, said co-founder and CEO Aadit Palicha.

This is a strategic move on social media to highlight the companies' expanding and innovative approach to quick commerce and its growth.

"We're launching a separate app for Zepto Cafe next week! The team is shipping an MVP and iterating quickly, so it may not be perfect on Day 1, but it's worth it to launch fast :D, "the co-founder posted on LinkedIn.

As the post suggests, the firm's cafe offerings shall be available on the separate app and users can still access these services from the main quick commerce application.

This announcement comes amid a wave of intense competition in the quick-commerce platform space and food deliveries too, with contemporaries such as Swiggy and Zomato looking for rapid food delivery options as well.

Zepto had earlier announced its wish to expand its presence across approximately 50 cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, and this is a step taken in that direction.

"Zepto Cafe is scaling rapidly; we're launching 100+ cafes a month and already clocking 30K+ orders/day," Palicha wrote on LinkedIn.

In April 2022, Zepto Cafe was launched for the first time as a division of Zepto which was founded in July, 2021.
