Nita Ambani announces New Health Seva Plan for women, child healthcare
The programme, which celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, is set to offer extensive free healthcare services.

Nita Mukesh Ambani , Founder and Chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, announced the launch of the New Health Seva Plan on Saturday, marking a major healthcare initiative aimed at improving access to essential screenings and treatments for children, adolescent girls, and women.
The programme, which celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, is set to offer extensive free healthcare services.

As part of the New Health Seva Plan, Ambani pledged free congenital heart disease screenings and treatments for 50,000 children, as well as breast and cervical cancer screenings for 50,000 women. The initiative will also provide free cervical cancer vaccinations to 10,000 adolescent girls.
During the announcement, Ambani highlighted the hospital’s decade-long commitment to affordable, accessible, high-quality healthcare. “For 10 years, Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital has been driven by our vision to make world-class healthcare accessible and affordable to every Indian. Together, we have touched millions of lives and offered hope to countless families. As we celebrate this milestone, we have launched a New Health Seva Plan, free of cost, for children and women from marginalised communities. We believe that good health is the foundation of a prosperous nation, and healthy women and children are the bedrock of a thriving society,” she said.

Since its inception, Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital has reached 2.75 million people, including over 150,000 children. Known for its advanced clinical care and technology, the hospital has achieved several milestones, including performing over 500 organ transplants and setting a record with six transplants in a single day.
The hospital holds accreditations from the Joint Commission International (JCI) and the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH). It is also recognised as Mumbai’s largest Gold Certified Green Hospital.
