Tata Motors sales declined by 0.32%, witnessed sales of 82,682 units in October 2024

Tata Motors sales in October: Tata Motors recorded a decline in its domestic and international sales marginally. automaker recorded sales of 82,682 units in October and ted a decline of 0.32 per cent on a year-on-year basis. Tata Motors fell short of 272 units as company recorded sales of 82,954 units as compared to October 2023.

Tata Motors Domestic sales:

total domestic sales of Tata Motors saw marginal growth. automaker recorded total sales of 80,839 units in October 2024 and recorded a growth of 14 units against 80,825 units in year-ago period, having a growth of 1.73 per cent.

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicle sales:

sales in passenger vehicle (PV) segment, which includes electric vehicles also witnessed a marginal decline. sales of passenger vehicle segment were at 48,423 units and registered a decline of 0.44 per cent on a year-on-year basis. As compared to August 2023, sales of passenger vehicle segment were over 48,637 units.

Tata Motors Domestic Sales of Passenger Vehicle Segment:

domestic sales of passenger vehicle segment also declined and were down to 48,131 units. Domestic sales recorded a decline of 0.42 per cent on a year-on-year basis. As compared to October 2023, domestic sales of passenger vehicle segment were at 48,337 units, company said.

Tata Motors Commercial Vehicle sales:

sales in commercial vehicle segment were at 34,259 units in October 2024. CV segment saw a decline of 58 units marginally and recorded a decline of 0.16 per cent on a year-on-year basis. As compared to October 2023, sales in commercial vehicle segment fell to 34,317 units.

Tata Motors recently introduced a new 45kWh battery pack in Nexon EV and also introduced Nexon i-CNG in India. Nexon i-CNG is first CNG SUV with turbo petrol engine on offer.
