Maruti Suzuki records of 2,06,434 units in October 2024, sales surge 4% YoY
Maruti Suzuki India recorded the highest-ever monthly sales in October having total sales of 2,06,434 units, having a surge of 4 per cent on a YoY basis.

Maruti Suzuki sales in October: Maruti Suzuki India registered that the company saw the maximum-ever monthly sales in October 2024. The automaker saw sales of 2,06,434 units, and witnessed a surge of 4 per cent on a year-on-year basis, as compared to October 2023.
According to a report from the company, Maruti Suzuki sold a total of 1,99,217 units in October 2023.
Sales in Domestic Passenger Vehicles:
The domestic passenger vehicle segment saw sales of 1,59,591 units in October 2024. The company recorded a decline of 5 per cent on a year-on-year basis and saw a decline of 8,456 units as compared to October 2023.
Sales of Mini Segment Cars:
As per the data from Maruti Suzuki, the mini segment cars consist of Alto and S-Presso. The sales in this segment saw a decline and fell to 10,687 units from 14,568 units in October 2023. This segment witnessed a decline of 36.31 per cent on a year-on-year basis.
Sales of Compact Car Segment:
The compact car segment consists of Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift, Tour S, and WagonR. The sales of this segment also witnessed a decline. The compact car segment recorded sales of 65,948 units and saw a decline of 22.31 per cent on a year-on-year basis. The automaker recorded sales of over 80,662 units in October 2023.
Sales of Utility Vehicles Segment:
The utility vehicle segment consists of Brezza, Grand Vitara, Ertiga, and XL6. In this segment, it recorded total sales of 70,644 units in October 2024. As per the data released by the company, this segment saw a growth of 16.27 per cent on a year-on-year basis. The sales of the utility vehicle segment were 59,147 units in the same month last year.
The sales of Eeco were registered at 11,653 units in October 2024 and witnessed a decline of 11.34 per cent on a year-on-year basis.
Commercial Vehicle Segment sales:
The Super Carry in the light commercial vehicle segment, recorded sales of 3,539 units and saw a marginal drop from 3,894 units earlier.
Exports:
Coming to exports, Maruti Suzuki India’s exports stood at 33,168 units in October and saw a surge of over 21,951 units as compared to October 2023.
