Mahindra and Mahindra records monthly sales of 96,648 units in October, surge of 20% YoY
Mahindra & Mahindra reported its monthly sales in October with 96,648 units, having a surge of 15,969 units, and marked a 20 per cent year-on-year increase.

Mahindra sales in October: Mahindra and Mahindra on Friday has reported that it recorded best-ever monthly sales in October. automaker registered sales of 96,648 units having a surge of 15,969 units and saw a 20 per cent year-on-year increase.
Mahindra and Mahindra is a Mumbai-based auto manufacturer and had dispatched 80,679 units to dealers in October last year.

Utility Vehicle segment:
As per company statement, utility vehicles segment, Mahindra recorded sales of 54,504 units in domestic market. company registered a growth of 25 per cent over 43,708 units in year-ago period.
Passenger and Commercial Vehicle:
In passenger vehicle segment, wholesales, including exports from manufacturer stood at 55,571 units in October.

According to company, domestic sales of commercial vehicles segment recorded a total sales of 28,812 units last month.
"We are excited to have clocked highest-ever SUV sales of 54,504 vehicles in October, a growth of 25 per cent and highest-ever total volume of 96,648, a growth of 20 per cent," M&M President Automotive Division Veejay Nakra said.

Farm and Equipment sector:
Farm Equipment Sector (FES) recorded highest-ever monthly domestic sales. This segment recorded sales of 64,326 tractors last month as compared with 49,336 units during October 2023.

tractor sales, including exports, in October 2024 were recorded at 65,453 units. As compared to October 2023, re is a growth of 14,493 units in same period. According to company, re were exports of 1,127 units of tractors last month.
" tractor industry has seen a very robust growth on back of many positive factors coming toger, table being a very good monsoon, a good Kharif crop, high reservoir levels which will help in Rabi crops, and government's anuncement of higher MSP on key Rabi crops," M&M President FES Hemant Sikka said.

With festive season providing momentum to positive sentiments, company expects demand to remain strong in coming months, he added.
