Hyundai Motor India records sales of 70,078 units in October 2024, surge of 2% YoY
Hyundai India registered an increase of 2 per cent in total sales. Hyundai Motor recorded total sales of 70,078 units in October 2024, majorly driven by SUVs.

Hyundai sales in October: Hyundai Motor India has declared that the auto manufacturer recorded total sales of 70,078 units in October and witnessed an increase of 2 per cent in total sales on a year-on-year basis. Hyundai Motor India had recorded sales of 68,728 units in October 2023.
"We witnessed a strong demand for our SUV portfolio during the festive period, leading to our highest-ever monthly SUV sales at 37,902 units, including the highest-ever monthly domestic sales of the Hyundai CRETA at 17,497 units," HMIL Chief Operating Officer, Tarun Garg said.
SUVs remain a cornerstone of the company's lineup, representing 68.2 per cent of the total monthly sales in October 2024, with similar penetration in urban as well as rural markets, he added.
Hyundai Motor India Domestic sales:
Hyundai Motor India’s domestic sales registered growth marginally. The automaker saw total sales of 55,568 units in October 202 and recorded a growth of 0.79 per cent on a year-on-year basis. Hyundai Motor India recently brought their IPO , and in a regulatory filing said that as compared to October 2023 the company recorded an increase of 440 units. The company had registered 55,128 units in the same month the previous year.
Hyundai Motor India Exports:
Hyundai Motor India recorded total exports of 14,510 units in October 2024. The exports of the company grew and registered a growth of 6.7 per cent on a year-on-year basis, as compared to 13,600 units in October 2023.
Hyundai Motor India CNG sales:
In the alternate fuel segment, which is the CNG segment, the company also witnessed favourable momentum. In October 2024 the sales of CNG vehicles were at 8,261 units. The CNG segment contributed to 14.9 per cent of the total domestic sales in October 2024. Hyundai Motor India recently introduced dual-cylinder technology in the Exter and Grand i10 Nios. The company provides both, the single-cylinder CNG option and a dual-cylinder CNG options in its vehicles.
