Samsung Galaxy Ring arrives in India as the company enters smart ring market
Samsung today launched the Galaxy Ring in India at a starting price of Rs 38,999. With this, Samsung has entered the smart ring market in India.

Samsung Galaxy Ring India launch: Samsung entered the smart ring market in India with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Ring today. Samsung first showcased the Galaxy Ring at its Galaxy Unpacked 2024 in July 2024 when it launched its Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 foldable display smartphones. Now, just three months later, the company has officially launched the Galaxy Ring in India. This newly launched smart ring joins the growing market of smart rings in the country, which includes companies such as Boat, Ultrahuman and Amazfit.
Samsung Galaxy Ring India price and availability
The Samsung Galaxy Ring starts at Rs 38,999 in India. Interested buyers can pick from Titanium Black, Titanium Silver and Titanium Gold variants with sizes varying between 5 and 13. As far as availability is concerned, interested buyers can purchase the Galaxy Watch via Samsung India's official website in India, Amazon India, Flipkart and select retail stores offline. Samsung is offering a no-cost EMI worth Rs 1625 per month for up to 24 months to the interested buyers. In addition to this, the company is also offering a 25W travel adapter to buyers who purchase the Galaxy Ring until October 18.

Coming to the specifications, the Galaxy Ring comes with titanium finish and it weighs 2.3g to 3g depending on the size. This smart ring comes with IP68 dust and water resistant coating and it can withstand water up to 100m depth. It is packed in a clam shell-style charging case and it has LED lights as charging indicators. The Galaxy light comes with 8MB of storage space and it runs Zephyr RTOS. It is backed by a 18mAh battery that can last for up to six day and it has Bluetooth 5.4 for connectivity.

Talking about features, the Samsung Galaxy Ring comes with three in-built sensors, which includes an accelerometer, an optical heart rate sensor, and a temperature sensor. These sensors offer a host of health monitoring features including sleep tracking, sleeping heart rate tracking and heart rate monitoring. In addition to this, it supports auto detection feature for workouts, inactive alerts and support for Galaxy AI. The Galaxy Ring shows all the health-related metrices and insights in the Samsung Health app.
