iPhone 15 Plus update: Apple is set to host annual fall event on September 9. At the event, the company will launch its next generation iPhone 16 series along with other devices including the Apple Watch Series 10 and the fourth generation Apple AirPods. In the run up to its 'It's Glowtime event', the iPhone 15 Plus is available at a discounted price in India.

It is worth noting that the iPhone 15 Plus was launched in India and elsewhere in the globe last year alongside the iPhone 15, the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Plus. Ahead of the launch of the iPhone 16 series, it is getting a major discount on e-retail platforms in India. Interested buyers can purchase the iPhone 15 Plus in India at a discounted price via Flipkart and Amazon.

How much does the iPhone 15 Plus cost in India now?

The 128GB variant of the iPhone 15 Plus, which was launched in India at a price of Rs 89,600, is available at a price of Rs 75,999 on Flipkart. Similarly, the 256GB variant of the device, which was launched at Rs 99,600, is available at a price of Rs 85,999 on the e-retail site. Lastly, the top variant of the iPhone 15 Plus with 512GB of storage space, which was launched at a price of Rs 1,19,600, is available at a price of Rs 1,05,999, on the platform.

Notably, Flipkart is not the only e-commerce platform in India that is offering the iPhone 15 Plus at a discounted price. The 128GB variant of the iPhone 15 Plus is available at a price of Rs 79,999 on Amazon India. Similarly, the 256GB variant and the 512GB variant of the device are available for Rs 80,600 and Rs 1,00,600 respectively on Amazon India.

iPhone 15 Plus specifications

As far as the features are concerned, the iPhone 15 Plus comes with an aluminium chassis with a glass back. It sports a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with dynamic island notch. It is powered by Apple's A16 Bionic chipset and it is available in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage space variants. On the camera front, the phone sports a dual camera setup at the back, which includes a 48MP primary lens and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, it has a 12MP TrueDepth camera.

On the connectivity front, it has 5G, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3, NFC and GPS, and for audio it has spatial audio playback and support for Dolby Atmos. For the unversed, Apple does not share details pertaining to the battery capacity of its iPhones. However, the company does say that the iPhone 15 Plus is capable of providing up to 26 hours of video playback time.
