Apple launches new MacBook Pro with M4 series chips, Apple Intelligence: India Price, features

MacBook Pro launch: Apple has refreshed its line of MacBook Pro laptops globally. The updated MacBook Pro laptops come with the company's M4 series of chips and support for Apple Intelligence. In addition to these features, the new MacBook Pro laptops also come with bigger RAM options, more storage options and a better camera.

MacBook Pro: India price and availability

The new MacBook Pro is available for pre-order in India now and it will be available for purchase in the country starting November 8. As far as the pricing is concerned, the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M4 chip starts at Rs 1,69,900, while the 14-inch MacBook Pro with M4 Pro or M4 Max chip starts at Rs 1,99,900. On the other hand, the 16-inch MacBook Pro with M4 Pro or M4 Max chip starts at Rs 2,49,900.

MacBook Pro: Top features and specifications

The 14-inch MacBook Pro comes with a 14.2-inch mini-LED backlit Liquid Retina XDR display. The 16-inch MacBook Pro comes with a 16.2-inch mini-LED backlit Liquid Retina XDR display. Both the variants offer adaptive screen refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a screen brightness of up to 1,000 nits. They also come with a 12MP Center Stage camera with support for Desk View and
1080p HD video recording capability.

On the processing front, the 14-inch MacBook Pro is available in M4, M4 Pro and M4 Max chip variants, while the 16-inch MacBook Pro is available in M4 Pro and M4 Max chip variants. Both the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro variants are available with up to 128GB of RAM and up to 8TB of storage space.

On the audio front, both the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro variants come with six high-fidelity speaker sound system with force cancelling woofers, wide stereo sound and support for spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, spatial audio with head tracking support and studio-quality three-mic array with high signal-to-noise ratio to name a few.

Coming to the keyboard, the new MacBook Pro comes with a backlit, Magic keyboard with TouchID, ambient light sensor and force touch trackpad. Talking about the battery, the 14-inch MacBook Pro comes with a 72.4Whr Li polymer battery with a 70W USB Type-C power adapter. On the connectivity front, it has Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
