Jio hikes price of its prepaid plans with Netflix subscription: Check updated plan, benefits

Jio prepaid plans: Reliance Jio has hiked the price of its prepaid plans that offer complementary Netflix subscription to the subscribers in India. Jio currently offers two data plans with Netflix subscription to its prepaid subscribers in the country. Earlier, these plans were being offered at a price of Rs 1,099 and Rs 1,499. Now, Jio has hiked their prices by Rs 200 and Rs 300 respectively. After the price hike, these prepaid plans are available for Rs 1,499 and Rs 1,799 in the country.

It is worth noting that while Jio has hiked the prices of its prepaid plans with complementary Netflix subscription, it hasn't upgraded their benefits. This means that users will now have to pay more if they want to continue using these plans. The updated prepaid plans are available on both - Jio's official website and the My Jio app for the subscribers.

Jio Rs 1,299 prepaid plan benefits

This plan comes with a validity of 84 days and it offers 2GB of high-speed data per day. In total, Jio's Rs 1,299 plan offers 168GB of data. In addition to the data benefits, this plan also offers unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day. Subscribers also get a complementary Netflix Mobile subscription with this plan.

Jio Rs 1,799 prepaid plan benefits

This prepaid plan also comes with a validity of 84 days and it offers 3GB of data per day. In total, this plan offers 252GB of data. Subscribers also get unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per days. Additionally, subscribers get a complementary Netflix Basic subscription with this plan.

Separately, Netflix Mobile plan costs Rs 149 per month while the Netflix Basic plan costs Rs 199 per month. Also, both these prepaid plans offer complementary access to Jio's other services, which includes Jio TV, Jio Cinema and Jio Cloud. There are also valid for both, Jio's 5G and 4G subscribers.
