Kevan Parekh is appointed as the new CFO starting Jan 1 2025. As Apple ’s senior vice president and chief financial officer, he will be reporting to CEO Tim Cook. As CFO, Kevan oversees Apple’s accounting, business support, financial planning and analysis, treasury, investor relations, internal audit, and tax functions.

Kevan: Apple’s Journey


Kevan joined Apple in 2013 and has since played an important role in the company's financial and commercial planning, as well as product development planning. Prior to becoming CFO, he was Apple's Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis. Previously, he was Apple's vice president of Worldwide Finance, where he oversaw a variety of departments such as Engineering, iTunes, Marketing, Retail, and Sales.


Apple also announced that Parekh's annual remuneration has been boosted to $1 million. Furthermore, he is entitled to participate in the Apple Inc. Executive Cash Incentive Plan for fiscal year 2025, according to Apple.

Kevan: Education And Experience


Kevan has more than 20 years of expertise running worldwide financial teams for big corporations. Before joining Apple, Kevan had top leadership positions at Thomson Reuters and General Motors, where he worked in Europe and Asia.

Kevan holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan (1989-1993) and an MBA from (1997-1999) the University of Chicago Booth School Of Business.
