Google has now introduced Gemini 2.0, which is its latest Artificial Intelligence model, and is faster, smarter and more versatile as compared to its earlier versions.

What Are The Features Of Gemini 2.0?

Gemini 2.0 is built to understand text, images, audio and video and can also generate them and the versatility of the app makes it user friendly.

It is twice as fast as Gemini 1.5 and introduces advanced features such as multilingual audio generation and the ability to create visuals along with text.

The current model can also plan and carry out tasks, like solving problems, helping with coding, while keeping users in control.

How Is The Current Model Faring?

The model is currently being tested by developers and is integrated into tools like Google Search, where it allows users to put forth more complex queries, solve math problems, and process questions that involve multiple types of information.

Developers can avail Gemini 2.0 and experiment on it through Google's AI tools. Google has planned a more widespread access for January.

What Is Deep Research?

Deep Research is like a research assistant which allows Gemini 2.0 to research on detailed topics and compile in-depth reports.

"Today we’re excited to launch our next era of models built for this new agentic era: introducing Gemini 2.0, our most capable model yet. With new advances in multimodality — like native image and audio output — and native tool use, it will enable us to build new AI agents that bring us closer to our vision of a universal assistant," Google CEO Sundar Pichai said.

"If Gemini 1.0 was about organizing and understanding information, Gemini 2.0 is about making it much more useful. I can’t wait to see what this next era brings," he added.
