Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has introduced the Cyber Insights Platform, a cutting-edge solution that combines AI and Amazon Security Lake to elevate cybersecurity and compliance for clients. Drawing on TCS' proficiency in managed detection and response, the platform unifies diverse security data from various sources, including public and private clouds, on-premise environments, and third-party security providers. Powered by Amason Security Lake, it employs machine learning models to continuously monitor anomalies, predict potential issues, and enable proactive threat mitigation.
The platform's machine learning models focus on proactive anomaly detection, granular user-entity behavior analytics, dynamic risk quantification, and automated responses. This ensures a cybersecurity environment that is adaptive and resilient, capable of addressing the dynamic challenges of the ever-evolving cyber threat landscape.
TCS leverages its extensive industry knowledge to customise the Cyber Insights Platform to meet specific security needs across various sectors. Notably, the Financial Crime Fusion Center, utilising generative AI, provides financial services clients with insights into incidents such as account takeovers, unauthorised fund transfers, and identity theft by integrating data from fraud detection and cybersecurity systems.
These additions complement TCS' comprehensive cybersecurity portfolio, encompassing consulting, advisory services, security-as-a-service, industry-specific solutions, and managed security services. The range includes detection and response, identity and access management, vulnerability management, governance, risk and compliance, data privacy and protection, digital forensics, incident response, cloud security, data security, and IT/OT security services.
Krishna Mohan, Deputy Head of TCS AI.Cloud, highlighted the platform's innovation, emphasising TCS' commitment to solving clients' business challenges through state-of-the-art technologies. The use of generative AI to synthesise security data from distributed silos into contextual insights reflects TCS' dedication to transforming isolated data silos into strategic assets. The strategic partnership with AWS reinforces TCS as the preferred partner for clients seeking a transformative approach to their cybersecurity landscape.
At 11:30 am IST on Thursday, November 2, TCS shares were trading 1.04 per cent higher at Rs 3,365.30 apiece on the NSE.
