Elon Musk backs China's role in AI Safety Summit

AI Safety Summit London: During an event in London on Thursday, Elon Musk expressed his belief in the importance of alignment between Britain, the United States, and China regarding the safety aspects of artificial intelligence. The event, featuring British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak interviewing Musk, was held at Lancaster House, a prestigious London venue frequently used for diplomatic functions.

Musk also voiced his support for China's participation in the first AI Safety Summit held at Bletchley Park, England. This summit brought together prominent companies and nations over the past two days to establish initial measures for managing the risks associated with cutting-edge AI models.

The discussion between Sunak and Musk occurred in the presence of a select audience, including business leaders and journalists, and will be made available online later on Thursday.
