Prominent YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, known by his channel name BeerBiceps, fell victim to a cyberattack on Wednesday night, leaving his massive digital empire compromised. Hackers took control of his YouTube channels, renamed them, and deleted much of his content. The incident mirrors similar cyberattacks on other prominent accounts, raising concerns about cybersecurity in India.

The hackers renamed BeerBiceps' channel to "@Elon.trump.tesla_live2024" and his personal channel to "@ Tesla .event.trump_2024." Following the takeover, they replaced Allahbadia’s motivational podcasts and celebrity interviews with livestreams featuring Tesla CEO Elon Musk and former U.S. President Donald Trump. YouTube has since taken down the compromised channels, displaying the message, “This page isn’t available.”

Although Allahbadia has yet to release an official statement on the hacking, he indirectly addressed the situation through Instagram stories. He posted a picture of his favorite vegan burger with the caption, “Celebrating my two main channels being hacked with my favorite food.” In another story, he shared a selfie wearing an eye mask, captioned, “Is this the end of my YouTube career? Was nice knowing you all.”

The 30-year-old YouTuber, who started his career at the age of 22, has amassed an impressive following, managing seven YouTube channels with around 12 million subscribers combined. His BeerBiceps channel has become a popular destination for lifestyle, fitness, and motivational content, along with interviews featuring high-profile personalities such as Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, and sports legends Yuvraj Singh and KL Rahul. He has also interviewed Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and international icons like Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The hacking incident comes amid growing concerns about the vulnerability of content creators and public figures to cyberattacks. While Allahbadia has not provided an update on the recovery of his YouTube channels, the event serves as a reminder of the risks posed by weak digital security, even for well-known influencers.

The attack on BeerBiceps closely resembles the hacking of the Indian Supreme Court's YouTube channel earlier this year, suggesting a potential pattern of targeting high-profile accounts. As cybersecurity threats continue to evolve, influencers like Ranveer Allahbadia are increasingly in the crosshairs, raising the stakes for digital safety on global platforms like YouTube.
