Maharashtra's Next CM: BJP Leader Devendra Fadnavis Breaks Silence
The people of Maharashtra, he said, had yet again proven that the Eknath Shinde division of the party is the real Shiv Sena of Balasaheb Thackeray.
Bharatiya Janata Party-led Mahayuti has led the exit polls of the Maharashtra Assembly Elections of 2024. The Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has finally broken his silence on who is going to b ethe next Chief Minister of the state.
While speaking to reporters Fadnavis said, "There will be no dispute on the position of the CM. This has been decided from the first day itself that after elections, the leaders of all three parties will sit together and decide on this. Everyone will accept the decision and there is no dispute on this."
He further added that the opposition's efforts of propagating a fake narrative and polarising voters on the basis of religion is prevented by masses.

Mahayuti-Led Polls
The Mahayuti coalition, led by BJP, is leading the polls by a wide margin where it is ahead in 225 seats of the 288-member legislative assembly, according to the Election Commission of India.
On the other hand the Congress-led alliance has an advantage of just 50 seats.
Mahayuti is in all likelihood, inches away from a landslide victory in the state. BJP candidates are in the lead in 127 seats.
