Reflecting on his youth, Adani said he struggled with communication skills during his school days. "After 10th grade, I didn’t have good speaking skills. I came from a village, from a very humble background," he noted. Unlike many business leaders with access to elite education and resources, Adani’s journey lacked such advantages.

"I didn’t complete college, had no knowledge of computers, and came from a family with no financial privilege or business background," he revealed, adding that his journey to success has been anything but conventional.

Despite these challenges, Adani highlighted the power of perseverance and self-learning. He credited his achievements to his ability to make decisive choices and adapt to changing circumstances.

The role of decisiveness

Adani highlighted the importance of decision-making in shaping one’s life. He explained, "Life changes when you take decisive steps and use the power of your decisions to influence your personal and professional growth. It’s about recognising your responsibilities and acting on them."

For Adani, this approach has been central to his rise from a modest background to overseeing a sprawling business empire spanning ports, energy, and infrastructure.
