Commercial LPG cylinder price hiked by Rs 48, domestic cylinders unaffected
The price of 14 kg LPG cylinders will continue to be Rs 803 while the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders will reach Rs 1,740 in Delhi.
Commercial LPG cylinder price: The oil marketing companies, ahead of the festival season, have announced a price hike of Rs 48.50 for the 19 kg commercial Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders while price of domestic LPG cylinders remains unaffected. The price of the 5 kg free trade LPG cylinders has also increased by Rs 12.
The new prices will take effect from Tuesday, October 1.
The price of 14 kg LPG cylinders will continue to be Rs 803 while the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders will reach Rs 1,740 in Delhi; Rs 1,850 in Kolkata; Rs 1,692 in Mumbai; and Rs 1,903 in Chennai.
A month back, the oil companies increased the price of the commercial cylinders by Rs 39.
Food businesses are likely to take the biggest hit of the price hike.
