CMs, state ministers to join over 100 Indian CEOs in Davos next month

Several prominent Indian leaders, including Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu, and Telangana CM Revant Reddy, will join over 100 CEOs and global leaders at the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2025 in Davos, Switzerland. Scheduled from January 20-25, 2025, the event will focus on the theme, "Collaboration for the Intelligent Age."

WEF 2025: High-Profile Attendees


Andhra Pradesh CM Naidu will attend alongside his son and state minister, Nara Lokesh, while other Indian ministers, including Karnataka Deputy CM D.K. Shivakumar, Tamil Nadu Minister T.R.B. Rajaa, and Uttar Pradesh Minister Suresh Khanna, are also set to participate. The presence of senior Union ministers is anticipated, though names are yet to be confirmed.

WEF 2025: Global Context and Key Topics


The meeting will take place amid significant geopolitical and economic challenges, including the Ukraine war, the West Asia crisis, and a new U.S. administration under President Donald Trump, who begins his second term on January 20. Discussions will likely touch on India's global influence, especially following PM Modi’s third consecutive term and his past participation in WEF summits.

WEF 2025: Corporate Presence from India


India’s top business leaders, including Mukesh Ambani (Reliance), Gautam Adani (Adani Group), and Ratan Tata (Tata Group), will lead a delegation of executives from major conglomerates such as Mahindra, Bharti, Birla, and Vedanta. Technology leaders like Salil Parekh (Infosys), Rishad Premji (Wipro), Vijay Shekhar Sharma (Paytm), and Adar Poonawalla (Serum Institute) will also be present.
