IT Firm Wipro has announced Quarterly 3 results for FY 2024 and disclosed the interim dividend of Rs 6 for FY 25. 

The Board of Directors of Wipro Limited at their meeting held over January 16-17, 2025, approved the dividend along with other key financial decisions. The appointment of Pavan N Rao as the Internal Audit Head of the Company was also approved with effect from January 20, 2025, in place of Raghuraman Ranganathan, owing to an internal role change.

“The Board Meeting commenced on January 16, 2025 at 2 PM, and finally concluded on January 17, 2025 at 3:35 PM” as per the exchange filing.

Wipro Dividend: Record Date, Payout Date

The company has announced an interim dividend of Rs 6 for the financial year 2025  for the quarter ended on December 31, 2024. 

“Payment of interim dividend of ₹ 6 per equity share of par value ₹ 2 each to the Members of the Company as on January 28, 2025, being the Record Date. The payment of Interim Dividend will be made on or before February 15, 2025” as per exchange filing. 

Wipro: Revenue For Q3

Wipro released the earnings report for Q3 ending on December 31, 2024.  As per the report, revenue climbs 0.1% QoQ, above the higher end of projections. Operating margin reaches a 12-quarter high of 17.5% and expands by 0.7% QoQ. Net income increases by 24.5% year on year and 4.5% quarter on quarter, while earnings per share increase by 24.4%. Operating cash flows represent 146.5% of net income.  

Gross revenue was at ₹223.2 billion. Net income for the quarter was at ₹33.5 billion ($392.0 million1), an increase of 4.5% QoQ and 24.5% YoY.

A US-based health insurance company has selected Wipro for a multi-phase enterprise transformation program.  A US-based leading media corporation has selected Wipro to transform its advertising operations and drive growth in a competitive market. A leading Indian private banking and financial services institution has selected Wipro to transform and modernize its Core Banking System
