Vedanta Dividend 2025: Anil Agarwal Led Company To Announce Fourth Dividend? Check Record Date
Anil Agarwal-led Vedanta is set to announce its fourth interim dividend for FY 2024-25 on December 16.
Anil Agarwal-led mining major Vedanta Limited is gearing up to announce its fourth interim dividend for shareholders in the ongoing financial year 2024-25.
The company, in a fresh exchange filing, revealed that its Board of Directors meeting is scheduled for Monday, December 16, 2024.

‘Board of Directors of the Company (the “Board”) is proposed to be scheduled on Monday, December 16, 2024, to consider and approve the Fourth Interim Dividend on equity shares, if any, for the Financial Year 2024-25,’ the company mentioned in the exchange filing.
Vedanta Dividend Record Date
To determine eligibility for the upcoming dividend, Vedanta has fixed Tuesday, December 24, 2024, as the record date.
‘The record date for the purpose of determining the entitlement of the equity shareholders for the said dividend, if declared, is being fixed as Tuesday, December 24, 2024,’ as stated in the exchange filing on BSE.
The record date is the date when the shareholders of a company must have the shares in their demat accounts in order to be eligible to receive the dividend. Shareholders whose names appear in the company's records as of this date will be entitled to receive the cash reward.
Vedanta Dividend Trading Window
In its filing, Vedanta also noted that the trading window for designated persons would remain closed between Thursday, December 12, and Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
‘The Trading Window shall remain closed for dealing in securities of the Company for all Designated Persons from Thursday, December 12, 2024, till Wednesday, December 18, 2024 (both days inclusive),’ as per the company. The company has not specified the payout date of the dividend. In the quarterly results announced on November 8, 2024, Vedanta's consolidated net profit jumped to Rs 4,352 crore. The company had reported a loss of Rs 1,783 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
