RVNL Share Price Today: Jump Of Over 5% As Company Wins Rs 137.16 Crore Central Railway Project - Details

On Tuesday, Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) shares surged over 5% in the trading hours following the news of that the company has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a Rs 137.16 crore project awarded by Central Railway.

The project focuses on the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of 132/55 KV traction substations, sectioning posts, and sub-sectioning posts for the 2x25 KV traction system with Scott-connected transformers.

Project Details 
This ambitious undertaking is part of the modernization efforts in the Bhusaval-Khandwa section, targeting a freight capacity of 3000 MT. The contract will follow the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) mode and is slated for completion within 24 months.

Cost and Timeline
The project, valued at Rs 137.16 crore (inclusive of applicable taxes), will play a pivotal role in enhancing the rail infrastructure and freight capacity in this critical section of Central Railway. RVNL plans to deliver the project on schedule within two years.

Today the stock opened at Rs 414.50, and went to a high of 439.90 and a low of 414.50 which is the same as the opening price. Currently, around 12:10, it's trading at Rs 426.25 up by 4.19%.
